Multiply the range's style and colour combinations by 150: our minimum is 150 pieces per style and colour, cut and sewn from your pattern. One tee in three colours plus one hoodie in two is five combinations, so 750 pieces. A range can mix categories: a tee, a hoodie and joggers are three styles at 150 each, made on the same floor and checked by the same QC team. Decoration doesn't change the count. Embroidery, screen printing and sublimation all happen in-house, so an embroidered hoodie is still 150 pieces, with no separate print-shop minimum on top; decoration adds setup cost, such as digitising a logo or making print screens, not pieces. Sizes are graded within each 150. It's low enough to launch or test a design, and we scale the same styles up to full bulk and wholesale runs in the same factory, matched to a sealed sample so quality stays consistent as volume grows.

We're a cut-and-sew knitwear factory, so our core is anything made from knitted fabric: t-shirts, polos, hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, leggings, activewear, loungewear, underwear, beachwear, kids' clothing and accessories such as caps and totes. On top of the garment we handle decoration in-house — private label, embroidery, screen printing and sublimation — which means one partner rather than a factory plus a separate print shop. Yarn, knitting, dyeing and fabric finishing happen before your order reaches our floor, at mills we specify, book and visit; you brief them through us and hold one company accountable for the result. One honest limit: flat-knit sweaters and cardigans (knitted from yarn on knitting machines rather than cut from knitted fabric) are handled on a limited basis through vetted partner units, not our own floor. Yes. Every fabric we make can be made in certified organic cotton: we are GOTS certified, RSC 9687, with the scope certificate available on request. Organic jersey, rib, interlock, French terry and fleece mean tees, tanks, kidswear, hoodies and sweat shorts can all be produced certified. Book certified fabric at quote stage. It isn't applied by default, since conventional cotton runs on the same floor for brands that don't need the claim, and certified yarn carries a premium you should see up front. When a stockist, marketplace or auditor asks for proof about your goods, we can arrange a Transaction Certificate covering that shipment; the certification body charges for it per order, and we put that fee in your quote. Which blends qualify, and the organic percentage each GOTS 7.0 label grade needs, are covered on our sustainability page. Across a mixed range, we'll tell you which pieces can carry a certified claim and which can't, before your labels are printed.

Yes, always, and we won't start bulk without it. You can brief us with a tech pack, a sketch or a description of the garment you want, and we come back with fabric options and a costed sample. You receive a physical garment to check fit, fabric hand-feel, colour and finish in person, not a photo. Wash and wear it before you judge it, and send changes in writing with measurements. Most first samples need at least one round of changes, which is normal rather than a sign anything has gone wrong. Once you approve it, that piece becomes the sealed sample: the physical reference every production unit is checked against, so the last piece off the line matches the one you signed off. It stays on file for reorders. Sampling typically takes about 10 days and is usually charged separately from bulk production; the cost is confirmed in your quote before you commit.

Yes, worldwide, and we quote DDP (delivered duty paid). That means import duty, customs clearance and freight are included in our price and handled by us, so you receive one landed cost rather than separate bills after the goods land. We have a page for each of our main markets, from the US, UK and EU to Japan, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. Duty is where destinations differ most: when we last checked, a cotton tee from Bangladesh paid no duty into the UK, EU, Canada or Australia but 26.5% duty into the US, and because most of those zero rates come from least-developed-country preferences, which change as Bangladesh graduates, we confirm the live rate on each quote. Many manufacturers quote FOB instead, which covers the goods only to the port of origin, with duty, brokerage and inland delivery invoiced later. An FOB number looks lower on paper and often isn't. Our free landed-cost calculator adds up duty and import tax for five markets: the US, UK, EU, Canada and Australia.

Through the sealed sample, staged photography and, on larger orders, an AQL inspection you can specify. The approved sample is kept as the physical benchmark and production is checked against it rather than against a written spec, which removes most of the room for interpretation. During the run we send photos at each stage — fabric, cutting, sewing, finishing — so anything drifting is caught while it's still correctable. Our QC team, led by Walter Meyer with 38 years in fashion, then inspects the finished pieces. AQL is the statistical sampling method used across the industry. At General Inspection Level II, a 2,000-piece order is checked on a random sample of 125: at AQL 2.5 it passes with up to 7 major defects in the sample and fails at 8; at AQL 4.0 for minor defects the limits are 10 and 11. About 10 days for sampling, then 40–50 days of production once you approve the sample, plus DDP shipping on top: air about 5–7 days, sea longer. Larger volumes take longer, and we'll give you a realistic date rather than an optimistic one. Yarn, knitting and dyeing happen at partner mills we book; cutting, sewing and garment finishing happen on our floor, with end-to-end QC by Walter Meyer's team and photos sent to you at every stage, so you can see where the order stands without chasing it. The most common cause of delay isn't the factory — it's waiting on decisions from the brand side, typically sample feedback, fabric colour sign-off, or final label artwork. Having your artwork, label details and colour references ready when you brief us removes most of that waiting. If you're working to a hard launch date, tell us at the beginning and we'll say plainly whether it's achievable instead of agreeing and missing it.

Both, and the 150-piece minimum per style and colour exists specifically so new brands can work with us. A significant part of what we do is first production runs for founders who've never manufactured before and don't have a tech pack, industry contacts, or a large budget. You don't need to arrive prepared: we build the spec with you, and we reply within one business day. Equally, we produce full bulk and wholesale volumes for established labels. Because it's the same factory and the same sealed-sample process, and your pattern, fabric spec and sealed sample stay on file, brands that start at 150 pieces can scale into thousands without changing supplier or losing consistency. That is usually the painful part of outgrowing a first manufacturer, when a new factory has to learn your fit from scratch.
