Sustainability & ethics

Made responsibly — and we can prove it.

Sustainability isn’t a label we print. It’s certified fabrics, fair conditions, and a way of making that wastes less — with the documentation to back every claim.

“Sustainable” is one of the most over-used words in fashion. So rather than ask you to take ours on faith, here’s exactly what we do — and how you can verify it.

GOTS-certified organic cotton

We offer GOTS-certified organic cottonacross most of our knitwear — the gold standard for organic textiles. GOTS tracks a fabric across its whole supply chain: organic fibres, banned toxic chemicals, environmental management, and fair working conditions. We provide the certification documentation on request. Read more in our guide to GOTS organic cotton.

Beyond cotton: recycled and natural fibres

Organic cotton is one option among several. We also work with recycled performance blends, bamboo viscose, modal, and hemp — so you can choose the most responsible fabric that genuinely suits your garment, rather than greenwashing one that doesn’t.

The people who make your clothes

Fast fashion hides its workers; we put them front and centre. The people on our floor earn fair wages measured against the real cost of living, work humane and published hours, and make your clothes in audited, safe conditions. See the faces and the standards in our factory photo essay.

Lower-impact production

Responsible dyeing with wastewater treatment, careful resource use, and end-to-end quality control mean fewer rejects and less waste. We’re happy to talk through the specifics for your order.

Made to order, not to landfill

The most sustainable garment is the one that gets worn, not the one that sits unsold. Our low minimum of 100 pieces per stylelets brands make what they can actually sell, test before scaling, and avoid the overproduction that ends up in landfill. Low MOQ isn’t just founder-friendly — it’s less wasteful by design.

Certifications & proof

We can provide GOTS certification and certification documentation for the fabrics you choose. If a supplier won’t show you certificates, that tells you something — we’ll always show you ours.

Frequently asked questions

What sustainable fabrics do you offer?

GOTS-certified organic cotton, recycled performance blends, bamboo viscose, modal and hemp — so you can choose the most responsible fabric that genuinely suits your garment.

Is your organic cotton really certified?

Yes — we offer GOTS-certified organic cotton and provide the certification documentation on request. GOTS verifies organic fibre content plus environmental and social standards across the whole supply chain.

How can I verify a manufacturer's sustainability claims?

Ask for certificates (GOTS, OEKO-TEX) and social-compliance audits, and ask to see the factory and the people who make your clothes. A supplier that won't share documents is a red flag — we'll always show you ours.

Does sustainable clothing manufacturing cost more?

Certified and recycled fabrics often cost a little more, and the gap narrows at volume. Many brands find customers will pay for verified, better-made materials — and low-MOQ production avoids the waste of overproduction.
