Collective Studio is a family-run knitwear manufacturer in Narayanganj — the heart of Bangladesh's knitwear industry, the world's second-largest apparel exporter. We specialise in cut-and-sew knits: garments cut from knitted fabrics like single jersey, French terry, fleece, piqué and rib — t-shirts, polos, hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, leggings, loungewear and underwear.
One honest note, because the word "knitwear" means two different things: if you're after flat-knit sweaters, jumpers or cardigans (garments knitted from yarn on knitting machines), our own floor is cut-and-sew — we handle flat-knit orders on a limited basis through vetted partner units. What does a knitwear manufacturer make?
Two families of products: cut-and-sew knits (garments cut from knitted fabric — tees, hoodies, joggers, loungewear) and flat-knit garments (sweaters and cardigans knitted from yarn). Our own factory specialises in cut-and-sew knits; flat-knit orders are handled on a limited basis through vetted partner units.
What is the minimum order for knitwear manufacturing?
With us, 100 pieces per style and colour for cut-and-sew knits — low for a full-service factory. Many knitwear factories in Bangladesh quote 300+ per style and colour.

Do you make sweaters and cardigans?
On a limited basis. Flat-knitting is a different production process from our cut-and-sew floor, so we run sweater orders through vetted partner units and are upfront about lead times and minimums. Ask us before you plan a sweater-led range.
