Founders · Father & daughter

When family meets creativity.

A father-daughter duo bringing your ideas to life with heart. Three decades of textile experience meets a new generation of digital-native brand partnership.

Two generations. One shared promise.

Collective Studio is a family business in the truest sense — built by a father who’s spent his career in textiles, and a daughter who grew up on the factory floor and now leads how we work with modern brands.

The result is a manufacturing partner unlike most others: the operational depth of a legacy mill, with the responsiveness, transparency, and digital fluency that today’s emerging fashion brands actually need.

We say yes to small runs — and we mean it.

Jashim Uddin, founder of Collective Studio.

Jashim Uddin

Founder

Jashim’s road to manufacturing is anything but ordinary. He began his career in the Bangladesh Army and went on to serve with the country’s Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), retiring in 2000 — two decades of service that instilled the discipline, precision, and quiet integrity that still run through everything Collective Studio does.

He then built businesses of his own: a transport and logistics agency he ran until 2013, followed by a garment warehouse in Malaysia from 2013 to 2017 — his first years in apparel, learning the trade from the buyer’s side of the table.

In 2016 he founded Belle Vouz Ltd as a buying house and grew it into a full manufacturing plant, giving him a rare end-to-end view of the industry — from placing an order to making it. Collective Studio, established in 2019, is the distillation of that journey: a factory led by someone who has stood on every side of the supply chain, and who still chooses flexibility and quality over sheer volume.

The two are separate companies. Belle Vouz Ltd is the parent and the larger factory; Collective Studio Ltd is the low-minimum studio, with its own company registration, VAT number, export licence and GOTS certificate (RSC 9687), all listed on our certifications page. Your contract, invoice and transaction certificate come from the company you order from.

Homaira Jashim

Co-Founder

Representing the new generation of fashion manufacturing leadership, Homaira brings fresh perspectives on sustainable practices, digital communication, and modern brand partnerships. Her understanding of what emerging brands need — flexibility, transparency, and genuine collaboration — has shaped how we approach every client relationship.

Together, this father-daughter partnership combines time-tested industry knowledge with innovative thinking — a manufacturing partner that understands both the craft of garment making and the needs of modern fashion brands.

What this partnership actually gives you.

Three things you get from working with founders — not a sales team, not a middleman.

01 · Operational depth

Decades of supply-chain relationships, on call.

Yarn suppliers, dye houses, trim sources, freight forwarders — the entire chain is one phone call away. Issues get resolved in hours, not weeks.

Led by Jashim Uddin
02 · Brand fluency

We speak emerging-brand.

Tech packs, Slack updates, sample reviews over video, photo timelines — the way modern brands work, built into how we work.

Led by Homaira Jashim
03 · Quality control

38 years of QC, every piece.

Walter Meyer leads our quality team — end-to-end inspection on every order. Your fiftieth piece equals the first.

Questions about the founders

Who will I actually speak to at Collective Studio?

Most brands deal with co-founder Homaira Jashim directly, from the first enquiry through sampling and production to shipping, in English. Enquiries are answered within one business day. Questions about fit, fabric or construction are answered by the people who run the floor, because there is no sales agent in between. You can book a 20-minute intro call with her before you send anything.

What did Jashim Uddin do before Collective Studio?

He served in the Bangladesh Army and with the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence, retiring in 2000. He then ran a transport and logistics agency until 2013 and a garment warehouse in Malaysia from 2013 to 2017. In 2016 he founded Belle Vouz Ltd as a buying house and grew it into a manufacturing plant, and he established Collective Studio in 2019.

Are Belle Vouz Ltd and Collective Studio the same company?

No. Belle Vouz Ltd is the parent and the larger factory. Collective Studio Ltd is a separate company, the low-minimum studio, with its own company registration, VAT number, export licence and GOTS certificate, RSC 9687. Your contract, invoice and transaction certificate come from the company you order from. The certifications page lists every number.

Can I meet the founders or see the floor before I order?

Yes. You can visit Narayanganj by arrangement, or ask for a live video call from the floor while a shift is running, Sunday to Thursday in Bangladesh working hours. To see the floor first, watch our factory videos, including Homaira's walk round the floor.

Talk to a founder, not a sales rep.

Twenty minutes on a call with Homaira. She’ll listen, ask honest questions, and tell you if we’re the right partner for your line.
